Black-led community org based in Bedford-Stuyvesant. BMC runs anti-street harassment campaigns, operates a food coop, and hosts a Black LGBTQ+ leadership program. They co-founded the NYC Anti-Violence Accountability Project, developing community-led responses to harm as alternatives to NYPD intervention.
