“Bandung 1955”: Building Global South Solidarity against European and US Colonialism 

The 1955 Bandung Conference was a collective refusal of colonialism, racial capitalism, and imperialism (pillars of the global carceral order) by leaders of countries from African, Asia, and Latin America. It marked a radical act of solidarity among formerly colonized nations imagining liberation beyond domination, punishment, and empire.
